Hannah comes to Renew with over 10 years of Social Work experience working in non-profit, government, and international sectors. She has worked with people from a variety of diverse backgrounds, including refugees and survivors of human trafficking. It is her honor to journey alongside courageous individuals, families, and communities as they seek healing and restoration.
Hannah's Story
Hannah has always had passion for justice and empowering others to live whole and healthy lives. She values supporting and cheering on those around her (especially the underdog!), and is a driven advocate. She believes every person deserves access to high quality mental health services and should feel welcome and safe getting help. Being invited into someone’s story is a privilege, and Hannah is encouraged by the willingness of her clients to try new or hard things in order to grow. She loves the field of Social Work and believes this background gives her a unique perspective in counseling.
Hannah usually states that she is “bad at hobbies”, but dabbles in photography, baking, running, and traveling. She is a big fan of Akron and its people. Her daily aim is to walk closely with the Lord and to love others well. She met her husband in college and they have one son who was born while living overseas.
