Sharon's Story

Sharon is naturally drawn to helping the emerging adulthood age group because of experiencing counseling for the first time in college herself.  It was a time of growth and healing that led her to study Clinical Counseling.  She graduated from Malone University in 2014 and pursued training in treating eating disorders, in both individual and group settings. She is excited to bring this specialization to Renew, along with passion for treating women and college students with other mental health concerns. Throughout her career she has also provided educational trainings on eating disorder awareness and treatment.

When she is not working with clients Sharon enjoys both taking and teaching yoga and barre classes, hiking, napping, and spending time with her friends, husband and three children.
