VICTORIA GUTBROD, MA, LPCC-S

Victoria comes to Renew with 25 years of experience in the non-profit world. She is passionate about serving our community and developing partnerships with local as well as regional programs to improve the quality of care for those in need. Throughout her 21-year career in counseling, she has developed trainings on the psychosocial and developmental impact of trauma on the individual for churches, government agencies, professionals, paraprofessionals, and ministries.

Victoria's Story

Victoria specializes in complex trauma and has worked with thousands of victims of violence, exploitation, and human trafficking.  Victoria utilizes treatments and interventions that incorporate the most current neuro-scientific research on brain development and attachment theory with Christian faith. Victoria has presented at many local and national conferences around the topic of trauma and healing of the mind. She is also featured in numerous podcasts speaking on the topic of trauma with the integration of faith and science in healing. When she is not working at Renew you can find her dancing, puzzling, looking at shoes online, gardening, hiking with her husband and dogs, reading fiction, baking with her husband, cooking for anyone whom she can feed with her old-world style meals, and spending time with her family and friends.  She is married to Matt and has an adult daughter who lives close by.
